ABOUT

International Healthcare Organization (IHO) is a 501 (c)3 non-profit organization based in Los Angeles, California. Inspired by his volunteer work with refugee populations, CEO Ahmad Elhaija founded IHO to empower the underserved with high-quality healthcare. IHO now strives to address both communal and global structural inequities through research-driven, scalable solutions that target upstream barriers. Our team is composed of doctors, researchers, global health professionals, nurses, medical students, non-profit advisors, and health care administrators.

Our vision is to advance our innovative healthcare safety-net and provide high-quality medical care across the United States and around the globe where people of all backgrounds unable to afford medical services can have access to high-quality medical care. We focus on providing multicultural, low-income, unhoused, immigrant, and refugee populations with educational, nutritional, and medical health services. We bring together medical professionals and researchers to conduct research and plan initiatives that prioritize underserved communities for long-term change in global health.
